We are so excited to introduce our new blog, a space where we can share everything we’ve learned from years in the wedding industry! We’re Rian and Johnny, a husband and wife photo + video team based in Northern California, and we’ve been capturing love stories together since 2018. Our goal? To make your wedding journey as stress-free as possible, so you can truly enjoy the beauty of your day.

We know firsthand that weddings come with a lot of moving parts—timelines, vendors, family dynamics, and emotions. But through it all, we want you to know one thing: we are in your corner. We are here to guide, support, and encourage you, not just as photographers and videographers but as a couple who deeply values marriage.

A Wedding Blog with a Purpose

This WEDDING blog is more than just wedding tips—it’s a place where you’ll get to know us, our hearts, our beliefs, and why we do what we do. Over the years, we’ve learned so much about marriage, love, and faith, and we want to share that with you.

More than anything, our goal with this blog is not just to share wedding knowledge but to spread the joy that comes from the Lord. We love Jesus, and we love sharing Him with all who are interested in hearing what we have to say. Marriage is a reflection of Christ’s love for the church, as stated in Ephesians 5:25-27:

"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless."

We consider it a blessing to celebrate that love through our work.

Marriage is a Gift

As a couple who has been married for almost six years, we have walked through many highs and lows together. We’ve learned that marriage is not just about the wedding day—it’s a lifelong commitment, a covenant, and a reflection of God’s love.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 reminds us of the strength found in unity:

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."

This verse is at the heart of everything we do because we believe that marriage is strongest when God is at the center.

We cherish the opportunity to celebrate each love story we capture. Seeing two people commit to each other in front of their family, friends, and God is something that never gets old. It’s a reminder of the sacred beauty of marriage, and we are honored to be a part of preserving those moments for you.

Our Heart for Marriage

Our favorite quotes about marriage come from two wise men who have deeply impacted our lives. Johnny’s grandpa always said, “It’s not about me,” and my (Rian’s) old pastor once told me, “Marriage should be a constant battle to out-serve one another.” These two simple but powerful truths have carried us through so much in our own marriage, and we hope and pray they encourage you, too.

We believe that God created marriage to be the ultimate representation of Christ’s love for the church and His people. 1 Corinthians 16:14 reminds us of the foundation of love in everything we do: "Let all that you do be done in love."

As we travel the world capturing love stories, we are often brought to tears by the incredible commitment we witness in others—not to mention the giant party at the end! And yes, we love to dance. ;)

We hope this gives you a good understanding of who we are and what we’re all about. We are so excited for this new chapter and to share this journey with you.
